Can i merge two dataproviders if they do not have common
column?

We Merge to data providers to make them compatable and
present columns from both DP's in the report.We do that by
using Merge Dimension in XI 3.1 and Link to option in Data
Manager Tab till XIR2.
We need a common dimension to do soo..
If you try to merge with 2 uncommon dimensions the results
will be in acurate and the Data providers will be
incompatable when you try to place them in the report.

No we cannot. We need to have common columns.

Hai, Can anyone tell me 'how to use one dataprovider result as an input to another dataprovider?. In BO6.5 there is an option like "select query result". we can use this option in the filter. but the same thing not available in BO XI webi. if any one face this problem , can you please share with me how to do this? How to resolve the partial result error in the report
Its regarding Javascript coding for customization in BI4 reports. We need to have all the options disabled in the report except the option to Export(save the report in computer in Excel/pdf formats). I am able to hide TopBar,TabBar,Left Navigation etc but I need "Export" option to be displayed to the users in Read mode. Can this selective "hiding" be achieved?
