The answer can not be given in one line. QC Engineer has
lot of responsibilities. It involves mainly quality of
materials and quality of workmanship. He has to see that
work is being executed in accordance with the
specifications laid down in the contract. In order to
achieve over all quality he has to maintain record of cube
testing of concrete, test results of steel and other
construction material at site.

The QC engineer ensures the work is carried out according
to the project contract specifications,project quality plan
(PQP),inspection and test plan(ITP)....He is also
responsible for timely reporting of any non-comformance,un-
approved material usage etc. etc.
