ELCB - Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker - Senses the leakage
current between earth and phase .
RCCB - Residual Current Circuit breaker - Senses the total
flow of current and compare with the return current through
Neutral and functions on the difference of this current
ELCB and RCCB are available in current sensing capcity of
30, 100, 300 mA and in three phases and Single Phase.
Currently RCCB is considered as superior to ELCB
MCB - Miniature Circuit breaker - Only functions on overload

ELCB Means Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker, It will sense any
leakage between phases and earth also between neutral and
earth. sensitivity of ELCB calculated in milli amps and
available in 10,30,100,300 milli amps ranges, both in
single phase and triple phase. a triple phase ELCB can be
used for single phase.
MCB Means Miniature Circuit Breaker It will sense any
leakage between phases and to neutral, tripping current
will be in Kiloamps
