1.we cant measure directly very high voltages(in kv) in
switchyard.so we need to step down the voltage in kv into
some small values.so we can measure small voltages using our
meters.the purpose of using capacitor is to filter DC and
will allow AC only.

all switch yard instrument are mainly relay...whose current& voltage setting required...that are possible c.t having current upto 5A.7 voltage upto 110KV so difference of current can found out

2 t/f operating in parallel will share the load according 2 their- a)leakage reactance,b)pu impedence,c)efficiency,d) rating.
