Cmpression ratio is 1:1
A fan is used for relatively lower pressure and high volume.
Eg: Cooling tower fans, FD fans
Blower
Compression ratio is 1:1 to 1:4
Blower is used for relatively higher pressure and less flow rates
Eg: Fired heater (using for proper combustion of fuel), air blower
