You should apply the voltage step by step till the double
voltage capacity of the cable. this is during only in the
1st time of test for 2nd time onwards 1.8% is preferble.

Ex:33KV: You apply till 65KV

you apply voltage 80% factory testing.......

if example factory testing 70kv means

you apply 70*0.8 = 56kv. for 33kv busbar........
