Infinite bus bar in power system refers to bus bar which
has infinte inertia. It menas drawing or adding infinte
(practically very large)power does not cause any change in
the voltage and frequency of the bus.

Answer / raju
the bus bar which maintains constant frequency and voltage through out the line...here we assume that the moment of inertia of the alternator as infinity...so frequency is independent of small changes in load...

Answer / s raghavendra
infinite bus bar is the one where the voltage and frequency of that busbar is independent of changes in load because of connecting all the alternators of all power stations to that line parallel to each other supplies the busbar consant frequency and voltage so that it can withstand very large or infinite load.........................
