When should I use earth leakage circuit breaker for incomer and when should I use it for each feed..

Answer / mubeen

If your load is unbalance,or distrubting to different
panels you should use Earth leakage relay not ELCB.ELCB can
be used for branch circuit or any sperate panel such as for
light, power sockets etc.Earth leakage relay can be use to
trip the breaker on calculated current.
