Answer / pswin
It will depends on the type of magger. You can choose desire volt by using selector switch within the range of magger. For low voltage switchboard busbars, 500 V is enough.

It depends on the technicians choice of voltage. You shoulb
able to get a guess of how much voltage the cable should
be able to0 endure without losing its insulation and then
subject that c abkle to that voltage on the megger. For
low voltage installations about 500V should be okay since
the maximum voltage of a three phase system will be 415V
if bridged.

what are the limitations to use 33kv ac in industries?
it is clear that volts equal to the current as per ohms law. is it appliable to the AC power or only for DC. if it is appliacable to AC in transformers when voltage increases the voltage decreases ????? why??????????????
what are the compensations considered while designing a transmmision line.
I am getting differential earth fault in my transformer realy , i have checked all its CT & control wiring but do not get fault, Please help
why we use battery source for current transformer polarity testing?
What is a circuit breaker contact multiplier relay?
As we know multiplicity factor derivation equation is as below MF = main c t ratio / main p t ratio * meter c t ratio / meter p t ratio * meter dial constant Where in digital meters for HT kwh import export now a days meter constant are calibrated already which is 1 So my question is For HT 11kv 110 v line values are as below Main c t and p t ratio are 11000 v and 110 v and 20/5 means 20 amp and 5 amp Now meter values are 11000/√3/110√3 and primary and secondary amp are displayed as -/5 amp on kwh meter so what will be the MF for this meter ?
What is the power plant or power station?
We have one Energy meter for Measuring the voltage, current, power, energy(KWH,KVARH,KVAH) & power factor. The problem is that the meter does not show whether the PF is lagging or leading. So i want to know that is there any way or calculation to find out that whether the PF sign (lagging or leading) depending upon the above mentioned parameters?
Is there any decided or standard frequency to check the meager testing of transformer, DG set, LT Panel in the industries in a year. I means how many times we should be check the same.
