we usually go for M20 Grade concrete for normal construction with (1:2:4)mix proportion which is minimum and M100 grade concrete has been used as maximum mix proportion. Using M100 grade concrete, in Dubai, Kingdom Tower has been constructed which is the largest tower.tower. M100 gives high compressive strength so that it is highly useful for tall building construction.
