both r correct first case we can assume without load....second case we can assume with load the current is depends on the load if the load is increased the voltage drop will be high

Answer / indra narayan chakraborty
the first statement is correct. When voltage increases current also increase at constant resistance. But the second statement is not true because current does not decreases instead the device burns out or the voltage can be maintained constant to maintain constant power.

Both are correct the first formula is for the voltage drop
while the second formula is for power.
1.if you increase current while maintaing the resistance
constant the voltage drop across it will increase or in
other word if you vary resistance while maintaing the
current constant the voltage drop will again vary.
2 for this case if u increase voltage maintaing the current
constant the power is increased or if u increase the current
while maintaing the voltage constant again u increase the power.
think a little bit about this matter and u will understand
the things with yourself
