30 mA ELCB is used for human protection. Cause the current
which is passing through human body, exeeds 15 mA then it
can cause serious injury or even fatality. Here if your
ELCB is 30 mA, it will trip before it reaches 15mA...

elcb is speacially used to prevent earth leakage. The 30ma
is the value of current which a system can handle boyound
this it will affected the system even a human body also

If we put 40 amps ELCB it can't trip within a shorter
momment & rate of flow of current increase beyond the human
body resistance capacity.
