DP Transmitter are used in the measurement of level/flow
measurement/DP of filters.. Here both the lp & hp points
are rather important.
To calibrate the transmitter:
confirm the cell and adapter blocks are clear,
Apply both side the equal pressure by opening the equalizer
valve (Less than its MWP-max working pressure),
should be 4 mA. (This is called Static test)
Make zero trim if found error.
Apply the required range of pressure, only in hp side and
zdj to 20 mA. Again chk 0%, if error found adj zero. After
no error found in zero/span then proceed next step.
Apply pressure and note 4-5 points of its range in hp
side., increasing and decreasing (to avoid hystersis error).
Make write protect and calibration tag on transmitter.

In closed loop control there are several “blocks” used to show the interactions between the process and the control system. These blocks are referred to as the “process” and the “controller.” Describe the relationship between these two blocks when creating a well tuned control loop.

when an eddy current probe is installed inside of a turbine or compressor in case of probe problem same as:crash of head of probe, changing the scale factor because of low measuring gap(physical gap is ok(example=1.14mm)but voltage is reduced(example=-6 volts),is any way to check the probe, when the ohm of probe is ok.thank you,(Karim Tavakoli)
