effort means input i.e. heat given or added.
efficiency can be increased by either increasing
mean temp of heat addition or decreasing the mean temp of
heat rejection or both.for heat rejection it is limited by
ambient temp.So, the only option is to increase the mean
temp of heat addition i.e. by REGENERATION. Reheating is
not an option because it will increase heat input i.e.
effort.

Again I would like to say the same after reading of all

Question is Increasing the efficiency without changing in
effort.
efficiency= heat utilised/heat supplied.
Designer calculated all posible optimum heat utilisation
and heat rejections. for that designed system we should
follow the designers datas. otherwise you can design so, u
are changing in efforts.
please follow the designers advice or discuss with them.

Don't try to Increace the efficiency. the deciner is
alreday made all the posible conditions. try to achive the
designed efficiency by operating the system within the
advisable parameter. regularly moniter the parameter and
calculate the efficiency.
