Screw pump is positive displacement type pump and when we
require high pressure screw pump is used,where as
centrifugal pump is non-positive type and used for high
flow less pressure.

pressure at low speed while in centrifugal comp.if we want
the same pressure then hig sppe/big casing/big
impeller/more vibration/big motor-so to ever come all these
screw is better then centi pump-screw is able to pump
viscous material also while centrifugal-willlbe less
eficiency.
