Main different between these two motor in induction motor we power source directly but in servo motor we pulse rating. That why its give more accuracy than induction motor

Answer / mojahid
Servo motor provides high torque and easy to give position.this motor eaisly stop as we see in modern lathe machine while induction motor has less torque but high inertia.it stop at slow rate as we see in centre or conventional lathe.

Answer / parvez akhtar
main diff. is that servo motor rotate in both direction i.e
clockwise and anticlockwise But induction motor rotates in
one direction i.e either in clockwise or anticlockwise
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 5 Yes | 10 No |
Answer / krishnan
if we give supply to induction motor then it start to run
continously but in servo motor it rotates with the ref.
given by its sourse for eg. tankers used in army
