Rotor induced current frequency varies with speed and is
equal to s*f where s = slip and f is the frequency at
standstill. So at full speed the rotor current frequency is
very low. It is just like dc current.Thus the rotor current
can't be measured with ordinary tong tester. This will so
you very low value, although the current is high as marked
on motor name plate.

Dear all, how we select the cable size according  to current with or without including different correction factor , is there any direct method for sizing of cable...
