motor,when i calculate capacitance of capacitor it is three
time more in star connection than delta. if motor is star
connected which connection i shall adopt for capacitors and

Since the induction motor is connected in a star configuration, you should connect the capacitor in a star connection as well. The reason for this is phase matching: when both the motor and capacitor are connected in the same configuration (star or delta), they have identical phases, which helps to correct the power factor more effectively.nnIn a star-star connection, the voltage across each phase of the capacitor will be equal to line voltage. The total capacitance required for a star-connected motor can be calculated using the following formula:nnCtotal = (3 * Cperphase) / (1 + squareroot(3))nwhere Cperphase is the capacitance per phase in delta configuration.n
