We have to do Heat load calculation where we can achieve at
Grand total heat ( Sum of Grand Sen Heat + Grand Lat Heat).
TR = (GTH*1.05)/12000 TR - GTH in Btu/Hr
Calculation of TR from CFM is a thumb rule and dependa upon
inside design conditions. For Comform applications ( DBT-
Inside 2DegC & 55% RH we amy consider 400 Cfm per 1 TR).
In case of low temperature ( DBT:23+/-2 Deg C and RH <50%
this can be 250 to 300 Cfm per 1 TR.
But my recommendation is to do rough Heat load calculation
which can give the appropriate TR requirement.

each TR = 350 to 400 cfm as per manufacture
thumb rule
150 to 170 Sq.ft = 1 TR should not cross more than 180 sq.ft

Actually we are following the 1 TR =400 CFM consider it should be re-circulation system, because of we consider less T.R compare to Once-through system ,so 200 to 300 CFM for 1 T.R suitable for Once-through system.
otherwise 400 CFM consider for Once-through system AHU Capacity will be increased.so better to consider 200 to 300 CFM for Once-through AHU's.

We use MCCB not MCB for motor starters because MCCBs has capablity to drawout the motor starting current which is 5-6 times the full load current of motor for 1sec. Then why we use SDF in starter panel means MCC panels. Pls reply if any one knows this answer.
