basically the difference is in there cooling system,voltage
level and core material.
the core of power transformer is made up CRGO where as the
core of distribution transformer is made up of silicon steel.
generally the voltage level of power transformer is above
33kv and for this we use ONAF COOLING means we suppliment it
from fan for cooling and in distribution transformer
radiator is sufficient for cooling.

As per my knowledge, Indoor package substation refers to
GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) substation whereas in
outdoos substation we go for AIS (Air insulated
switchgear/circuit breakers). Also, GIS substation is much
more compact as compared to AIS/Otdoor substation.

i want to know is it possible to generate usefull power by coupling generator with motor & supply gives to motor by battery source then generator generates power. remove the battery source given to the motor & feed the supply from some of the generated power supply to the motor & motor runs continously. generator generate power contnously.is it possible ?
