Earthing switch has complex mechanism involved , but
however the operations is much more simple.
earthing truck is designed similar to the VCB or the VT/CT
truck of the panel, and has contacts, earhting link. Some
manufacturers also provide insulators on ET, however that
is an overdesign.
One important point is, earthing truck is only one for many
panels but the earthing switch is individual for each panel.

earthing switch permanent connected in cicuit where as
eathing truck is movable you can use it where ever you need.
suppose you have to work on portion of power line you can
permanet connect the earthing truck to that portion of line
after repairing you disconnect it
