What is the difference between PLC and DCS control system?
PLC is an completely industrial automation system, where as DCS is an computerized control system.
PLC is economicaly low cost, but the DCS costs high.
Also,
DCS stands for Distribute control system
Actually DCS is a network hub which can collect the Required Info from the other PLC's (say 2 or 3 & so on..) and then processed it... to get the full info about the Plant Operations(say current rating Temp. voltage load and Power Factor etc)..
