Power per phase for a 3 phase ckt is given by
(V/Root3)*I*cosphi
3 ph power in a 3 phase ckt is given by
3*{(V/Root3)*I*cosphi}= Root3*V*I*cosphi
So for 2 phase it will be
2*{(V/Root3)*I*cosphi}= (2*V/root3)*I*cosphi

Please examine the answer as V line =root3 Vph/2 +
root3Vph/2 and hence = root3 Vph. In 2 phase supply root3
does not come into picture as V1 and V2 are 180' apart..The
answer could be 2V x I x cos @ and V line= 2 V ph
