Generally in AC we consider voltage, frequency and phase
sequence for parallel operation ... Can we parallel two DC
battery chargers? If yes, then what precaution to be taken
when we parallel two DC power?

1) Yes, theoretically, we can parallel two DC battery
chargers, but generally they are not designed for parallel
operation.
2) Following factors are to be considered.
1) The voltage of both the chargers should be the same.
2) Both chargers should be connected in the same
polarity.
3) The output impedance of both the chargers should be
the same, so that both deliver equal current. (It is not
necessary that both the chargers should be of the same
make. It would rather prefer same model than same make.)
4) The characteristics of both the chargers should be the
same. Both should be set at the same current setting for
changeover from boost to float.
5) The current capacity of both the chargers should be
the same.

Main criteria for parallel connection is :
1. Both chargers should be connected in the same polarity.
2. Voltage of both the chargers should be same.
3. chargers should have identical specification.
Practically chargers are never used in parallel, they are
just momentarily paralleled in order to shift load of each
other so that maintenance work on each one can be carried out.

DC battery charger is feeding the float& DC load curent,
when AC fails battery will feed the DC,if charger fails
another charger can put in service.DC battery chargers not
required to parallel.(ie. battery having C10 capacity 100
AH or more)

Before parallel operation of two DC Battery charger
precaution to be taken is
1. Both Battery charger must to be same make.
2. Output of Battery charger output must to same volt.
3. Primary of both charger must to be connected in parallel
with same phase sequence.
4. Output of Charger connected in parallel with same
polarity.
5. Voltage regulation must be very perfect of charger.
