can u tell me the details of motor which has delta
connected rotor ?. If so, there should be atleast six slip
rings instead of three and i did not experience such type
of motors in my 15yrs of experience.

first of u have to think why we use star connection and why
we use delta connection .in star starting current
reduced .ok to if u want to increase starting current than
its connect in delta.if u connect rotor in delta than there
is no need of slip ring.
