Since, 11kv voltage can be distributed for industries,hospitals and some schools, it is easier if we hav star connected secondary.
Since,in star connection we can distribute a phase line with the neutral.

whenever distribution line is concerned, we have to used delta/star transformer to fullfill the requirement of customer .
