In any construction company which training method is more
effective on-the-job or off-the-job and why it is more
effective?
Answer / Vinod Kumar Maurya
Both on-the-job (OJT) and off-the-job (OTJ) training methods have their advantages, and the most effective one depends on the specific context and learning objectives. OJT provides practical, hands-on experience that can help trainees learn skills quickly and apply them in real-world scenarios. However, it may lack structured instruction and theoretical knowledge. OTJ, on the other hand, offers a more systematic approach to learning with formal instruction, but it might not offer the same level of practical exposure as OJT. A combination of both methods (OJT and OTJ) can be an effective way to ensure comprehensive training.
