open circuit and short circuit test.
impulse test.
Megger test.
| Is This Answer Correct ? | 18 Yes | 4 No |
Answer / arya anup
mainly open circuit, short circuit test in order tomeasure
core loss & copper loss. then megger test to check the
insulation level between lv & HV coils.next is high voltage
test to measure capability to withstand impuse of very high
voltages( about 28kV will be applied between HV & Earth)
Then coms double voltage and double frequency test, where
we apply double the rated voltage on to the lv side with
100Hz frequency. this helps to find out insulation problems
between phase to phase.(All tests should be done with oil
inside only)
Oil also to be checked for its break down voltage(shold
with stand minmum 30kV)
