It is the device which controls the output voltage
(constant) and power factor (reactive power) of the
sysncronous machine with change in Machine load condition.
AVR helps to maintain constant output voltage of Machine
irrespective change in Machine load condition.

AVR is been design on the basis of machine rating ie. what
is machines output power(MVA),voltage and cureent as well
as rating of exciters etc.(ie. voltage and current).

the excitation voltage i.e.54to59v then produce full
voltage. first supply to d.c voltage 7-8v.rectifer use in

I am working as a software engineer for the past 4 years. I am interested to do M.tech in premier inst. like IIT, IIIT, NIT,... I am preparing for the GATE exam for the past 2 years.
