it is done to make the neutral at zero potential
coz if there is unbalance in potential the neutral may
shift.

for stepdown distribution transformers the secondery side ie
lt side y-with nutrel earhto be connected because of load
side the current is not zero ie varying.hence we r connected
y-with nutrel earh......... finally this because of stand by
earth fault in load sideie secondery side..
