A Long Transmission Line draws a high quatity charging
current,if that circuit is lightly loaded then recieving
end voltage is greater than sending end voltage. This effect
is known as FERRANTI EFFECT.

It depends on what type of load. For example motor load
with increase in voltage torque will be more and hence
speed. Secondly the high voltage difference shows the var
imbalace in the system which will incease the transmission
loss.
