Answer / k. aditya
As d.c is given to the transformer a steady flux is draws
and the primary induced emf e1 is 0. so, there is no
limited current and the resistance of the winding is so
small and the wdg may damaged

as dc current flows through a constnat rate so there is constant magnetic flux folws due to which heat is produced which causes the burning of trnsfarmer

Answer / bin
transformer secondary coil produced emf depends on change in magnetic flux in the circuit.according to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction says that emf= -n d(Q)/d (t). where Q=flux.so in dc circuit frequency is not produced.so flux is not produced hence no change in flux.i.e. emf=0. even after some times coil may be burnt due dc supply running.

Answer / mahesh rathod
in the case of DC the flux produced is steady, which doesn't
induce any emf in the primary& secondary wdgs
in the absence of prim emf,the wdg draws high magnetising
current from the source which burnts the prim wdg.

In both 600/1000 V cable and 450/750 V cable, we can supply 415 V. However for distribution, all utilities are using only 600/100 V instead of 450/750 V. What is the reason?
