Answer / mohit tyagi
as per my views i think functional testing is a part of
black box testing.
in black box testing we perform two types testing
1)Functional Testing
2)Non Functional Testing
Functional Testing is performed to check functionalities of
a system(e.g. login, searching, inserting data etc.)
Non-Functional Testing is performed to check Non-functional
Requirements of the system(e.g. Stress, load,
usability,installation, configuration testing etc.)
so in functional testing we just test functionalities of a
system whether in black box testing we check both functional
as well as non-functional requirements of a system.
pls correct me if i m wrong.

Hi Refina,
it is a good question. Black box testing isconducted
in the external part of the application or check the
funtionality of the application. So both the functional and
blackbox testing are same.
