There are different kinds of defect tracking tools that
different organizations use.However, the procedures still
remain the same.
the main components are
priority,severity,platform,browser,operating
system,description,summary,URL to reproduce,search for a
bug,bug reporting guidelines,frequently reported bugs.
the examples of defect tracking tools are Bugzilla,Test
Director which is a test management toool and defect
tracking is a part of that tool as well.
