Purging is flushing out unburnt fuel in flue gas path. scavenging is removal of flue gases which are still in flue gas path. It is done before lighting up the boiler for certain defined period say 300 sec with fd fan air. Also purging of burners are done to prevent choking of burners passages of fuel. Done after burners are cut out of service . There is a risk of explosion if not done mostly in oil fired boilers

How to calculate boiler capacity? I have 1 Autoclave, Which has to use for AAC block. Dimension for this Autoclave is - 13 Meter Length & 2.2 Meter Diameter.
