I have motor 1500 HP and , 4160 V , 60 HZ , then i need the rating of transformer which can feed that motor ??
Answer / Siddhartha Chaturvedi
The rating of the transformer required to feed a 1500 HP, 4160V, 60Hz motor depends on several factors such as full load current, efficiency, etc. The formula for calculating transformer kVA is (full load current * volts) / (power factor * efficiency).
