At what speed an electric car can run with 2 HP motor of weighing 400 kg?
Answer / Pavitra Pratap Singh Deora
Using the same formula as previous question, if we have a 2HP (1392 Watts) motor, we can calculate the power needed: P = IV = (400 * 0.005) * 12 = 240 Watts. Since our motor provides more power than required, the car will move, but the exact speed cannot be determined without knowing the efficiency of the motor and other factors like rolling resistance, aerodynamic drag, etc.
