At what speed 1 HP motor can run an electric car of weighing 400 kg?..

Answer / Asfy

The speed of a motor depends on multiple factors like efficiency, torque, load, etc. However, for a simplified calculation, we can use the formula Power = Work/Time. The power of a 1HP motor is approximately 746 Watts. Assuming the car's resistance (R) to be 0.005 Ohms per kg and voltage (V) as 12 Volts, the power needed can be calculated as P = IV = (400 * 0.005) * 12 = 240 Watts. Since our motor provides less power than required, it won't be able to move the car.
