For D.C Power Reactive power requirement is zero, so
Active power=Apperent Power
power factor =Active power/Apperant power=1

During the testing of Electrical Equipment the test cables should not touch the equipments. For that testing engineers use to cotton rope to hang the cable from measuring Equipment to testing equipment terminal. Please explain the technical reason for this practice.

In my project i am layout cables under the Maintainance bay /Maintainance yard in the TG Building. Whether in this route i can lay the H.T.Cables??? i am taking all H.T cables from the H.T Transformer to the TG Building..
