MCCB- (Molded case ckt breaker)
It is a ckt breaker and trip device assembled in a mould case.It is meant for highier rated current and is commonly used in industial applications

Although the answer for MCCB and ELCB is all right but mcb stands for Miniature Ckt breaker and is used in domestic and industrial area with low fault level and with B,C and D curve application for Light/resistance,Inductive load and Non linear loads of PCs etc which causes lot of harmonics in the supply line. .The protec for MCCB is more and of higher level than MCB.RCB is similar to ELCB which checks the leakage current.

if the syncronous machine run at leading pf and as its field curret increased its armature current decreased is machine operate as generator or motor?
Does RCCB do the job of MCB? Lets take 16A RCCB. it trips when residual current exceeds 30mA. does it trip in an over current situation, i.e when current exceeds 16A ??
