Why battery is always operate on dc supply?
Dc means single polarity supply, when dc supply is given battery is charged with positive polarity only and on application of loaddstorage energy in battery will discharge. tut if there is a.c. supply is given then after each half cycle polarity of supply get reverse it lead to maintain stored energy's in battery is zero.

What is over fluxing in transformer?
We normally make oil soak pits under Transformers. Oil from soak pit goes to collection pit. We provide granules/pebbles under transformers. My question is weather granules/ pebbles to be filled in soak pit or not? if yes upto what level?
