Induction motor & transformer both has magnetic core,then why induction motor is a inductive load & transformer not???

because induction motor produce power and transformer only step up and step-down the power without chang in its frequency

Transformer consume very small power its efficiency is more than 98%. Means it is not a load it is only transforms power i.e. step up or step down voltage. However it may not be denied that whatever load it has is an inductive load.
