Induction motor & transformer both has magnetic core, then why induction motor is a inductive load & transformer not???
Answer Posted / bharat
Transformer consume very small power its efficiency is more than 98%. Means it is not a load it is only transforms power i.e. step up or step down voltage. However it may not be denied that whatever load it has is an inductive load.
