BOQ is defined as the bill of quantity 

in quantity surveying BOQ is prepared to show the cost of the material like no of cemnt bag, sand, brick,etc in a single sheet and sum is added to give the required rate for the various quantity

bill of quantity can be prepared separate for substructure and superstructure
