  Question:Flow in Engineering unit is 40 Tons/hr.
           Transmitter calibrated range is 0 to 100 mm/H2o.

           For 42 Tons/Hr flow engineering unit,what will
           be calibration range of Transmitter.

            old flow/new flow = SQ root of old range/SQ                                     root of new range.

             Q1= 40 tons/hr, Delta P1 100 mm/h2o
             Q2= 42 tons/hr, Delta P2 ?

            40/42 =SQ root of 100/SQ root of new range.
            Sqaring both sides

            Delta P2= 42 sqare X 100/40 sqare.

                      1764 X 100/1600
             Delta P2= 110.25 mm/H2o

              For 42 tons/hr engineering unit,the                       Transmitter to be calibrated for 110.25 mm/h2O.

Answer / hiren

tx range:- 0 to100mmh2o= 0 mmh2o= 0 ton/hr,100mmh2o=40ton/hr,42ton/hr=?
100/40*42=105mmh2o. so tx range is 0 to 105 mmh2o
