How we are blocking 40 kg or more pressure through only 6 kg instrument air in control valve

there exists an inverse relationship between pressure (P) and the surface area (A).
Pressure=(Force/Area)
By manipulating The Force-Area Ratio we can achieve what you ask.
You only need to reduce appropriately the surface area on which the 6 Kg weight is acting to match the pressure created by the 40 Kg weight.

I have installed a RTD whose length is 2250mm(RTD stem length), but it's upper 200 -250mm is out of the reactor, and this upper 200mm stem is surrounded by atmospheric temp. And the lower portion i.e. 2000mm is in contact with the measuring fluid, then does the final measuring temp. Gonna change as the upper 200mm RTD stem is out of reactor?

Good Evening all.My question is - For a feed water line to an equipment if i need to measure the flow we will use orifice /magnetic/vortex depend on cost/spec.If i need to measure a ''Alarm''signal and ''Interlock'' from one point i think we can use orifice type in one location with 2 different tapping points - one for alarm and one for an interlock to flow valve..If in case i need to have both these signals(Alarm & interlock) from magnetic flow meter,is it possible??will 2 seperate sensors will be located inbuilt r we can program it ??..i thk we can have one transmitter with these 2 signals...need to know any technical issues are there?pls clarify
