01 cum wall = 500 No. Bricks with Mortar
size of Bricks with Mortar = 200 mm x 100 mm x 100 mm
With Mortar = 0.20 x 0.1 x 0.1
= 0.002 cum = 1.0 cum
Without Mortar = 0.19 x 0.09 x 0.09
= 0.00153 cum = 0.769 cum
Mortar Quantity = With Mortar - Without Mortar
= 1.0 - 0.769
= 0.231 Cum

Size of brick is 10cm x 10cm x20cm
0.1x0.1x0.20=0.002cum.
1/0.002=500 no of bricks in 1 cum.
Cement mortor required for brick work .ratio is (1:5)
1) sand
1 cum=0.20 cum
0.20x actual quantity of brick work
0.20x1=0.20 cum.
2) cement
1 cum =(0.20x1440/5)
To find the value of cementfor 1cum theabove formula is necessary
0.20 refers to 1cum=0.20 of sand.
1440 refers to wt of cement per cum.
Where 5 refers last digit of cement mortor ratio.
1 cum = 57.6 kgs.
No of bags = 57.6/50 kg in one bag
=1.152 bags.
In one 1cum required
Cement: 1.152 bags.
Sand: 0.20 cum.
