What happen if in three phase 440 v , when you check voltage
by testor it glows except one phase and in the same time when
you check by multimeter it shows 440 v in any two phase.what
will be the reason...
Answer / ajitav nayak
As we know in 3-phase 4-wire ckt three phase R,Y,B & N respectively if we check with tester it will glow three phase except neutral. If we check with multimeter Phase to neutral it will show 230v & phase to phase 440v .But we cannot check all three terminal at one time by multimeter that is why in three phase we take 440V for calculation.
