No of bars = long span /c to c spacing between rods 1
No of bars = short span /c to c spacing between rods 1

Actually we not required calculate number of bars in a slab. We require only spacing of bars..
if we actually want to calculate number of bars..
Then
number of bars=(B/s)+1
B= length of slab
s= spacing of bars
