Answer / premalatha
threshold voltage is defined as the minimum voltage that
required to make the transistor ON. transistor may be
either NMOS or PMOS.For NMOS the value of threshold voltage
is positive value and for PMOS the value of threshold
voltage is negative value.

Threshold voltage (Vth) is the voltage level at which the
transistor turns ON & the Drain to Source (Ids) current
starts conducting.

Answer / manikandan
The minimum voltage required to have the conduction between
drain and source.when the vgs=vth(threshold voltage)only
conduction chanel is formed and conduction takes place.when
its more than vth conduction between drain and source takes
place

It is the gate voltage where an inversion layer forms at the
interface between the insulating layer (oxide) and the
substrate (body) of the transistor. In other words, it is a
minimum voltage that will trigger the gate to operate. It
can be positive or negative.

Answer / iqra
The threshold voltage of a MOSFET is usually defined as the
gate voltage where an inversion layer forms at the
interface between the insulating layer (oxide) and the
substrate (body) of the transistor
